Mrs. Marie Montpetit met with representatives of Les pollués de Montréal-Trudeau on June 27 to discuss the airport file (noise and air pollution caused by aircrafts), which impacts a large part of the population of Cremazie.
Pierre Lachapelle, President of Les Pollués, was pleased with the meeting and since Mrs Montpetit has, from a professional perspective, a background in public healthcare, she was receptive to the demand for an epidemiological study on the impact of aircraft noise on the public health of the population of Montreal. Les Pollués will regularly follow-up with the MP for Crémazie and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Health and Social Services.
